I would guess this is the case as well. I wonder if Emacs PostScript printing capabilities tries to preserve fonts? If it does, maybe you can use this small hack of mine, and extend it to execute printing automtically: http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/PostScriptToPDF /Mathias
