[h-e-w] Is it possible to hide frame border?

I have tried
1. -bw 0 on command line.
2. set registry value HKCU\..\Emacs\Emacs.BorderWidth to "0".
3. (setq default-frame-alist '((border-width . 0))), in .emacs
Neither works.

Please tell me how to do it if changing border width is possible. Thank you.
