I was running the installation of Emacs found on-line through http://ourcomments.org/cgi-bin/emacsw32-dl-latest.pl.
Although .tex files are associated with Emacs, I get a "Wrong number of arguments" error in the Emacs window that opens. I have gone to an installation of emacs-23.3-bin-i386.zip from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows/ and do not have the same problem. Sincerely, Jane Harvill Dr. Jane L.
