What is the bug and its symptoms? What is the patch and where can one find it? Who is/are the author(s) of that patch, and will they be willing to sign legal papers to assign the copyright to the FSF? These are the questions that will need to be answered as part of considering that patch for inclusion. (It is best to discuss this on emacs-de...@gnu.org, not here.)
