Niels, I strongly suggest looking at free software alternatives to Matlab. There is great resources on the web that list Matlab compliments. Here are a few I found from osalt.com http://www.osalt.com/matlab
Octave Sage Scilab Some others include R-project SciPy and/or NumPy Maxima These are great alternatives to Matlab and I'm sure, if they don't already, could be interfaced to GLPK. Unfortunately I cannot include glpkmex in the glpk distribution, because matlab is proprietary (non-free) software.
