Many thanks to Marc for getting me pointed in the right direction.
L1 methods only got a passing nod in my inverse theory class 20 years ago.
It's become painfully obvious I have very little idea of how to do this well.
Most of my references are pretty dated, so I'm looking for recommendations. My
interest is in L1 solutions to linear and nonlinear regression problems.
Amazon turned up Robert Vanderbei's book. Does anyone have any comments or
other suggestions?
