| Souvik, Please send me the console output from the compile and link using the AIX equivalent of "CC -v" on Solaris and the output from "nm -Ago libglpk.a" and "nm -Ago your_main.o". You may need to check the man pages. I'm on Solaris and don't recall the exact AIX options. The error suggests name mangling was used for the library compile, but not the application. There's a smaller chance that AIX is objecting to symbols starting with an underscore. Those are often reserved for internal compiler symbols.
