I've made a number of updates to my MathProg web page (
http://www3.nd.edu/~jeff/mathprog/mathprog.html) based on feedback received
from students and others. The changes include --

-- the Open and Save dialogs now allow you to store MathProg models on
Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive in addition to your local computer. This
makes is easy to share models with others or to integrate into course
management systems.

-- the "Create Link" button embeds MathProg models directly into web links
that can be cut and paste into web documents. Clicking on the link will
open the model in the editor ready to run. This feature is useful for
emailing models, or to include links from classroom presentations, web
pages, etc. Here's an example
giapetto.mod<https://www3.nd.edu/~jeff/mathprog/mathprog.html?model=%23%20Example%3A%20giapetto.mod%0A%23%0A%23%20Find%20the%20optimal%20solution%20maximizing%20Giapetto's%20profit%0A%0A%23%20Decision%20variables%0Avar%20x1%20%3E%3D0%20integer%3B%20%20%23%20soldier%0Avar%20x2%20%3E%3D0%20integer%3B%20%20%23%20train%0A%0A%23%20Objective%20function%0Amaximize%20profit%3A%203*x1%20%2B%202*x2%3B%0A%0A%23%20Constraints%0As.t.%20Finishing%3A%201.85*x1%20%2B%20x2%20%3C%3D%20100%3B%0As.t.%20Carpentry%3A%20x1%20%2B%20x2%20%3C%3D%2080%3B%0As.t.%20Demand%3A%20x1%20%3C%3D%2040%3B%0A%0Asolve%3B%0A%0Adisplay%20x1%2C%20x2%2C%20profit%3B%0Adisplay%20Finishing%2C%20Carpentry%2C%20Demand%3B%0A%0Aend%3B%0A>
.

-- the interface has been simplified by removing the LP/MIP switch, and the
exercises menu. Beginning students found this a bit confusing.

-- tooltips have been added for a number of items.

I'll be doing some more cleanup in the next few days. This will include
better handling of the output panels with options to download into
spreadsheets.

Thanks again to Henri Gourvest for the terrific glpk.js.
