OBJSENSE is a non-standard feature of MPS format. Please see http://www.cenapad.unicamp.br/parque/manuais/OSL/oslweb/features/featur11.htm (IBM OSL can be considered as a relevant reference due to its compatibility with IBM MPS/360 and MPSX/370.) Please note that it is always possible to change the objective sense either with the routine glp_set_obj_dir (on api level) or with options --min/--max (on using glpsol).
