I went from knowing nothing about mathprog to quite a lot looking at the examples at https://www3.nd.edu/~jeff/mathprog/
Nice page, I quickly navigated through it. It seems to organize the examples by complexity/level, which is good when we are learning things and seeing them for the first times.
Maybe something like that could be added to Glpk examples folder: how about a BEGINNGERS file which would mention the examples files in a similar order, adding a few details or comments about things?
