Without more information, it's hard to give any good answer.
Can you view the music on the screen using 'xdvi menuet.dvi'?
What happens if you look at the postscript file using
'gv menuet.ps' or 'ghostview menuet.ps'?
Can you print other postscript files correctly (for example
the Lilypond generated music at http://sca.uwaterloo.ca/Mutopia/)?
