the commands should look like this: scripts/gedaparts -l nxp_bipolar.index scripts/gedaparts -p nxp_bipolar.index You can test it on commandline. The list comman should print a list of parts. If you call the part command with a single partname it should print the symbol of the part. e.g. scripts/gedaparts -p nxp_bipolar.index BC817_NXP00051 It seems that the README file is outdated. I think I should review all the docs of spicelib and write more docs.
