the gnucap-geda plugin is meant to bypass gnetlist/spice-sdb in the
end. some future version of gspiceui might make use of it.

there is a draft/demo tarball for the gnucap-geda plugin [1]. for more
information on the status, source repos and compatiblilty see
gnucap-devel [2].
