Actually, I've refrained from saying anything because there is still one
big bug in dgs (That I hope is fixed soon), but with help and bug fixes
from  Juliusz Chroboczek (of the XFree86 DPS server fame), the xdps
backend has been vastly improved. I want to do some benchmarks, but I
beleive the speed of xdps has gone from being about 10 times slower than
xgps to within a factor of 2 (and I think we should be able to speed it
up more). Perhaps it will become useful soon...
