Well, since the question has been asked, I too feel that there is too much spam going thru fencepost.gnu.org. Something should be done. I would propose: - make the newsgroup gateways one way, mail-list -> newsgroup. - make the lists closed. - use some software on fencepost.gnu.org to detect and reject SPAM. - have some volunter to moderate the lists.
