Well, perhaps there's something wrong in the way I did it, but i had
already installed some of these fonts:

tree -d /usr/GNUstep/Local/Library/Fonts/
/usr/GNUstep/Local/Library/Fonts/
|-- Courier.nfont
|-- Dingbats.nfont
|-- Helvetica.nfont
|-- Symbols.nfont
|-- Times.nfont
`-- Zapf Chancery.nfont
