I was thinking it could be something like this.  But I suspected they 
wouldn't make a big change from 3.2 to 3.3/3.4.  I will look again to make

No, I downloaded the package from cygwin, so it came complete (and 
presumably correct).  I tried some time ago with 3.3 (and again today) and 
got the same results.
