Hi :) Some chap was trying to fix a Ubuntu/Win7 dual-boot.
I got it by fixing the Win7 boot, using these and other instructions and then fudging it http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/32523/how-to-manually-repair-windows-7-boot-loader-problems/ Before reinstalling the Win7 boot-loader from the Windows command-line i had to take care to set which the "Active" partition was (which one the command-line saw as being the bootable partition) and then doing the instructions to boot Win7. After that i reinstalled Grub2 and everything worked by magic Regards from Tom :)
