I wonder if you're having the same issue as me, which I've just 
opened as
bug #59976.

I'd reformatted my previously-working f2fs filesystem to include 
"extra_attr" to support some new checksums (recommended on the 
Arch linux web site).  That appears to have broken grub's f2fs 
module.

FWIW, my fsck.f2fs -V says 1.14.0; I'm running it on Linux, kernel 
5.10.11
