Hello all,
Sometimes I have to use --disable-shared flag...?
Example:
./configure --disable-shared
make
sudo make install
By the way....
Here is the link to the latest version:
ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]:21/gnu/gsl/gsl-1.10.tar.gz
Unzip this by double clicking. Now you can read the 'INSTALL' file
which provides install guides for various systems, including MacOS.
Take Terminal to the unziped directory and paste in the above.
Are you using XCode?
If so you will need to link to the gsl library (which will be
installed in /usr/local) by adding paths to the 'other linker flags',
'header search paths' and 'library search paths' variables.
Dan.

How to install GSL on Mac OS X (10.4) or find an install guide?
Install MacPorts (www.macports.org) and run

You don't need any package manager for that.
Just go to the unpacked gsl directory in terminal and
>./configure
>make
>sudo make install
(Here you will be asked for your administrator password)
