Hi Dan, Thanks for the reply! I noticed the message you sent out in 2008 but I couldn't find your code anywhere. If you're still interested in putting your interpolation code out there, I'd like to make it a joint project. Let me know what you think.
If you want to see what I wrote for comparison, clone git://www.ellipsix.net/interp2d.git.
