I did this, but it did not solve the issue:

$ kodi --version
18.0-ALPHA1 Git:20171120-nogitfound Media Center Kodi

I installed libvdpau-1.1.1, but that did not resolve the problem either.

It seems that these things are not found in one way or another:

- gdb (see [1])
- git (`kodi --version`)
- vdpau (`kodi`)

Could there be a common cause?
