The final post from the Guix User and Contributor Survey is out. This
time it's digging into contributors views [0]
Some fun bits:
1. 450 people contributed to Guix
Research found 450 individual people, and about 300 contributors filled
out the survey. About 60% of volunteers send 1-5 patches
2. Anyone can contribute
Many volunteers start by working on one thing that they care about.
Whether that's a package, a translation or something else. If you'd like
to give it a try there's a handy page on the site [1]
Did you know that anyone (including You!) can contribute to Guix? And,
over 450 people have, many working on just one thing - something they
care about!
3. The top-10 contributors have all sent more than 700 patches each!
4. The project is 95% volunteers
5. There's lots of interesting comments about what contributors would
like to improve. Read the post to get the details!
