Where do you get these websites?A google query? Which one? What about if you try with another search engine? Are the links ads or actual results?
I am using: https://search.rhscz.eu/ SearXNG as the search engine.So I don't know if that is a google query, because I don't know what SearXNG uses.
I did nothing install from the chrome web store,I managed some years ago to install extensions without googles chrome web store, but now this not possible any more. I even can't update them. I don't know why.
opening up chromiumand entering in the search field above any website, which I copied from somewhere, pressing enter, comes up that page with chineese results.
What about if you try with another search engine?
no, because earlier I tried several, and others like swisscows want now money,I would not like to use duckduckgo because they are based in US so my searches would go to US. With startpage I am not sure, I read, that a US marketing company bought it some years ago, so ????
SearXNG seemed to be the best, so I am using it. If you have got a better idea, I will be happy.

They are actual results, sometimes I can't even get away from them, every new search gives similar results.
