Hi,
If I'm not mistaken one can donate to any project via liberapay even if
the official account does not exist yet. I believe it worked that way in
the past, the account could be reclaimed later by the project.
Also, Liberapay uses Stripe, so you already have that set up.
It shouldn't be hard to open a Liberapay account.
Bonus points for liberapay: they are french. :)
