Hi everyone, Bootstrapping scala is always a problem in the JVM ecosystem because it uses pico instead of standard Java. Thanks to the LLM, now, we can finally rewrite these codes. The bootstrapping process is now nearing completion; the current version is 1.4.0+4, and we will soon be able to bootstrap to Scala 2.0. After that, Scala is totally written in Scala itself, and Pico will no longer be needed(no longer need to rewrite pico to java). code is here: https://github.com/vxtls/scala
btw, Has there been any progress on the Kotlin and Gradle issues? The latest updates I’ve found are that Gradle is now at version 4 and Kotlin is at 1.0.0. Good day, -Roy
