The error report is terrible.

Could you check the *-builder file that appears in
/gnu/store/…-system.drv?

I’m surprised ‘provenance-service-type’ has anything to do with it,
unless you added it manually to your config? (It’s added by default when
running ‘reconfigure’ so if you add it to your config, it appears twice,
which could cause this error.)
