Hi, I've got this issue on my device where when my device goes into suspend, on trying to wake the device, I have to wait for almost 20-25 seconds. Machine is a ThinkPad T480.
Here are the last 50 logs from dmesg - there is a delay of around 20 seconds between the logged events mentioning usb and thunderbolt: $ sudo dmesg -T | tail -n 50 [Tue Sep 1 21:02:58 2026] xhci_hcd 0000:3c:00.0: xHC error in resume, USBSTS 0x401, Reinit [Tue Sep 1 21:02:58 2026] usb usb3: root hub lost power or was reset [Tue Sep 1 21:02:58 2026] usb usb4: root hub lost power or was reset [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] usb 2-3: reset SuperSpeed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] ata3: SATA link up 6.0 Gbps (SStatus 133 SControl 300) [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] ata3.00: ACPI cmd f5/00:00:00:00:00:a0(SECURITY FREEZE LOCK) filtered out [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] sd 2:0:0:0: [sda] Starting disk [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] ata3.00: ACPI cmd f5/00:00:00:00:00:a0(SECURITY FREEZE LOCK) filtered out [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] ata3.00: configured for UDMA/133 [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] usb 1-8: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd [Tue Sep 1 21:02:59 2026] usb 1-7: reset full-speed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd [Tue Sep 1 21:03:20 2026] thunderbolt 0000:06:00.0: failed to send driver ready to ICM [Tue Sep 1 21:03:20 2026] pci_bus 0000:06: Allocating resources [Tue Sep 1 21:03:20 2026] Bluetooth: hci0: Bootloader revision 0.0 build 26 week 38 2015 [Tue Sep 1 21:03:20 2026] pci_bus 0000:3c: Allocating resources [Tue Sep 1 21:03:20 2026] OOM killer enabled.
