I'm using GV 3.5.8 on Redhat9 (it's a university PC and has not been upgraded);
I'd appreciate help so as to solve the following two issues:
1. When processing a large file with LaTex and then with dvips, the page which is displayed by GV after the LaTex and dvips processing is changed, e.g. if the current page which is displayed in GV is 100 then after the LaTex and dvips processing GV the page which is displayed is 105, and so it is required to manually go back to page 100.
Accordingly, is it possible to `lock' the page displayed by GV?
2. In order to reduce the space used by GV, and besides the -spartan option, is it possible to reduce the width of the menu items, e.g. by specifying some resources?
Thanks,
Joel.
