Problems with ZIP-Drive

Hello!

I've a big problem using GNU/Hurd. I installed the tarball of Debian GNU/Linux
and I was able to start the kernel using grub. but then:

...
hd03: bad access: bloc=28, count=2, blockend=30, nr_sects
end_request: I/O error, dev 03:03, sector 28

The device 03:03 is my ZIP-drive. What am I doing wrong? Pleas send any answer
to my email account, as I'm not on that list.
