File System Attributes

Is it possible to use a BeOS partition under the Hurd and manpulate the
advanced file attribute system? If a new file system were made for Hurd
with file attributes simmilar to BeOS, we could have multiple owners and
groups along with seemless database capabilitys. Of course there would
have to be a -primary- owner/group (as to not break or produce random
responces from "ls" and others)
