I'm hardly authoritative, but this is my read on it: (Correction
requested - I will probably turn this into a Porting-HOWTO)

The most fundamental part of the conversion of the microkernel and the C
library. The microkernel promises to be alot of work. The C library
should be reasonable so long as it's a target that is already supported
by the Linux version.

Glue code could probably be written for another port of GNUMach, giving
you all of Linux's driver. According to the OSKit web page:

Platforms Although the OSKit contains substantial machine-independent
code, it currently only contains machine-dependent code for the Intel x86
and Digital DNARD (StrongArm SA-110 CPU). Ports to other platforms are
being considered-- if you're interested, let's coordinate!

So waiting a little while might yield good results there. Helping would
certainly yield better ones.

However: Because the code has never been tested for endianness, 32/64 bit
issues, etc. It is probable that silly mistakes have crept into the code
unnoticed.
