This might be a really stupid question, but I can't resist asking: I 
was wandering whether extensibility and/or scalability of the Hurd 
to 64, 128, and even 256 bit (why not?) CPUs has been incorporated 
in the design and/or current development of this OS.  

And a related question: is there another OS for which the answer to 
my question above would be "yes"?
