Argh... that treacherous grub command line to replace serverboot.gz, that thing caused me a lot of oskit-mach recompiles for nothing.
Arun, If you check back to January in the debian-hurd list you will see a whole string of messages about this, apparently one of the online web pages has typos and while it will work with gnumach, it makes oskit-mach puke and die. Somewhere in there I have posted the correct strings to add to your grub menu.lst to replace serverboot.gz. I'd post it here now but I'm in the process of moving and I'm posting this from my Netwinder. My Linux/Hurd monster is not here yet :-) On Monday 15 April 2002 02:05 pm, Neal H Walfield wrote: > > > What should we use instead of serverboot.gz? > > > > gnumach.gz, i hope > > No. ext2fs.static and exec. > > _______________________________________________ > Help-hurd mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-hurd _______________________________________________ Help-hurd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-hurd
