crosshurd is broken and will stay broken for some time. I'm currently going
through getting it to work and there's a bunch of things to be fixed yet
(including the Debian Hurd and Xfree86 packages).

As of now the only updated link to gnu.tar.gz is in the Debian GNU/Hurd install
guide:

  http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install

which I'm taking care to update and ensure it always points to a working
gnu.tar.gz, untill we have a working crosshurd again.
