It's '--enable-kdb', not '--enable-ddb'. I'd leave out the '--host=...' and '--build=...' and '--prefix=...' and substitute 'make install' with 'gzip -c kernel > mygnumach.gz'; there's no need to install the header files on your GNU/Linux box if you're only interested if the kernel's image.
