I have little knowledge of HTML. You do not need to “know HTML” to do it. When all you have is a static hosting, you need to know a service on the Net, that provides a content embeddable in a frame, that presents a visitor a certain thread and allows him to reply in other way or another. To repeat, I am *not* aware of any ready-to-use replacement of Disqus, usable with no ad-hoc programs in browser. If you believe, that certain Mastodon node do provide such a service, I definitely would like to know. > Can you help me? If you ask whether I can host such a service, then yes, presumably I can, thanks to aforementioned GNU Social [1], which is nojs-friendly. But _no_, I won’t, since, to repeat, the approach itself, that is placing the initial post of the thread on your own website, while outsourcing replies to some third-party network, actually, looks dubious to me.
