You have the wrong list. This list is for bugs in, and help with, GNU
make, the program.
Try asking on the Squid list for help. I'll give them a hand and
mention that when you do so, please remember to specify what _version_
of Squid you're building, and please include _verbatim_ the commands you
typed and the output you got (at least the errors and some lines of
context before the errors)--cutting and pasting from your terminal into
your email is best.
Very generic questions like "I got an error 1 trying to make all" make
it essentially impossible to help in any meaningful way...
