First, go get the latest versions of the "config.sub" and "config.guess" scripts; you can find them at:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/config/ Plop them down into the make-3.79.1 directory replacing the versions that are there now, and try re-running configure. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul D.
