Hi,
I was wondering if the issue regarding static pattern rule and $$(@F) as in System V make was ever resolved. Is there a way to achieve the same efffect in gnu make. I found this very old article (dated 1992) that describes the exact same problem that I am having. http://groups.google.com/groups?safe=images&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&as_umsgid=9203051332.AA11080%40gilligan.ksr.com&lr=&hl=en basically: ${FILES_IN_DIR_A} : % : ${DIR_B}/$(notdir %) do_something does not work. I am using 3.79.1 version of gnu make. Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
