Hi!

I know that this question does not really touch GNU make but I have thought
that this might be a good place to find someone to answer my question. And on
the other side we are really using GNU make ...

I am looking for a way to generate dependency files using the Microsoft VC++
6.0 compiler from the command line. I looked through the help of it, googled
and searched the MSDN stuff, too. But so far I was too blind to find helpful
information. I want to try this from the command line because we are porting
a Unix application to Windows and want to continue using the complex Makefile
system so far used. BTW: during this porting attempt we evaluate Cygwin and
MKS Toolkit so we have the basic tools at our fingertips.
