How do I pass targets passed to top make, to submakes.
I am putting a small example below (nothing extraordinary about this make ..
but just to make
life easier in understanding gnu make)
top make contents (exists in dir x)
-------------------------
.PHONY : subdir clean
subdir :
$(MAKE) --directory=$@
submake contents (exists in dir x/subdir)
------------------------
.PHONY : all clean
all :
@echo "not sure what you want to do"
clean :
@echo "i am already clean"
