Hello, I used to build my software on EL 3.0 and AS 2.1 of linux.
I tried building the same on Linux EL 4.0 and I get bunch of errors like Reading makefiles... Reading makefile `build/Makefile'... Got a SIGCHLD; 1 unreaped children. Reading makefile `/home/dev/vsrivast/teleblock/teleblock-branch-64/DIS/build/Makefile.glo bals' (search path) (no ~ expansion)... Got a SIGCHLD; 2 unreaped children. Got a SIGCHLD; 2 unreaped children. Got a SIGCHLD; 1 unreaped children. Got a SIGCHLD; 1 unreaped children. Got a SIGCHLD; 1 unreaped children. Got a SIGCHLD; 1 unreaped children. Reading makefile `/home/dev/vsrivast/teleblock/teleblock-branch-64/DIS/build/platforms/Li nux-2.6' (search path) (no ~ expansion)... The rpm-qa |grep make returns following on the Linux EL 4.0 make-3.80-6.EL4 automake-1.9.2-3 where as on AS 21 returns pmake-1.45-4 automake-1.4p5-3 make-3.79.1-8 I have no clue why its happening.
