I created new software which is same as make utility. It has some additional features. When I started on it, I thought of make kernel related feature for it and so I thought I will make it open source. I did not do that though I created new make software. It is still not finished. I have not created public repository or gave it anyone or anyone used it and not created license file in it for gpl or any. I just wanted to check if I have any obligation like legal or moral or ethical to make it open source like gpl2 or gpl3. I tried to search for mailing list for linux kernel who can answer this. but most of them are diverse with particular project. If you can redirect me I will ask there.
