Hello,

I recently upgraded to Nano 8.7.

Since then, lines do not seem to hard wrap: I open Nano on a file, start writing, and when I reach the right end of the terminal the cursor does not come back to the first column.

I also tried with "nano -I".

If I'm reading "man nanorc" correctly (online), "set breaklonglines" should tell Nano to hard-wrap. The man says "when it becomes overlong", which I interpret as "longer than the terminal's width", but maybe it means something else.

Anyway, it doesn't seem to work. To check that this option was not overriden by another, I made a .nanorc containing just this one line.

What am I doing wrong?

How can I get lines to hard-wrap again?

Thanks!
Sébastien.
