RCS - how do I checkin multiple files with the same comment?

I want to check in multiple files with the same checkin message using
RCS. How would I do that? I tried the following and none of these
options worked:

ci -u -m"initial checkin" test*
ci -u -minitial test*
ci -u -minitial test1
