Ah, yes, the source is actually changing, so this is a better suggestion
than mine of putting it into the Debian revision.

In theory, all of the packaging tools except for dak itself can now cope
with 0.0.25~20060422-1 and will sort that earlier than 0.0.25-1, so you
could also try that.  Such a version can't currently be uploaded to
Debian, but that's possibly even a feature.
