For me, if I turn on JIT, make check fails(intmath). Is this related
to my platform(Mac OS X, PowerPC G4)?

Indeed nbody is the one that should benefit the least from JIT
compilation (many floating-point computations IIRC), and nsieve is
the one that should benefit the most (many array accesses and
SmallInteger computations).
