It would be great to see GNU Smalltalk make it into Debian testing -
at long last.

I think it would give a big boost to the day to day use of Smalltalk
to have GNU Smalltalk within the set of supported Debian packages. There is more than a year to go before the next Debian release (etch),
and while that may seem like lots of time, similar points were made
about a year before sarge came out, and GNU Smalltalk missed that one.
It strikes me as absurd that you cannot make a decision to discard an architecture if you want your package to enter Debian.

Particularly when almost everybody using m68k is using uClibc or similar.
