I did read on http://smalltalk.gnu.org/download smalltalk.gnu.org that binary distributions are not provided. What is actually the reason for this? Would it be possible to at least make a binary distribution available for the latest stable (3.1?) release for Mac OS X and Windows ... the linux users are maybe quite happy to do it themselves? The steps someone needs to go through to just try out GST on windows seems to be a bit too much.
